Tollywood has registered a total of nine $1 million grossers at the USA box office. RRR is obviously on the top of the list as it collected a whopping $14.3 million.

A total of nine films have touched the magical million mark in the USA for the year 2022. With just under 3 months left, which will be the 10th Telugu film to enter the list?
Well, Chiranjeevi’s Godfather is the only mainstream Telugu biggie left for the remainder of 2022 that has the potential to register good numbers at the USA box office. This film is releasing on 5th September. It could well be the 10th film to enter the list.
Then there’s Nagarjuna’s Ghost. This film had a slick trailer. But we should wait and see if it can actually make a million in the USA.
Last but not least, Vijay Deverakonda’s Kushi is slated for release on 24 December (as of now). This film is promoted as a classy love drama, a genre that is popular amongst the Telugu crowd in USA. Also, the presence of Samantha will help. It could well be the 11th film to enter the list if it comes with the right content.
