2015 has been a game changing year for Telugu Film Industry. All top stars along with young and upcoming talents had releases this year and they weren’t simply doing commercial fares, they came with something different. So who are the top three performers among them? Let’s have a look.
1. Jr NTR
Without any doubt the top performance of the year has to be Tarak for the film Temper. There were many individual scenes in the first half of the film that showed his caliber but it was the pre climax and climax, the stretch from before the start of the song ‘devuda’ till the completion of court scene that makes him the unanimous winner. It was goose bumps material literally.
2. Mahesh Babu
Mahesh Babu in Srimanthudu delivered another fine performance and made amends for his horror show in Aagadu.
What again makes this a top notch performance in the subtle various in the dialogue modulation, remember the ‘andi andi’ usage, apart from his usual expected emotional sequences, the scene before pre climax with Rajendra Prasad and it followed by the confrontation with Jagapathi Babu. Its subtly done yet carries the intensity showcasing the acting power of Mahesh Babu.
3. Nani
Finally the third best act of the year is hero Nani’s from the film Bhale Bhale Magadivoyi. He was a joy to watch in the film from the beginning till the end. Many small moments got hilarious response thanks to the impeccable timing of the actor. Of course when it comes to performance we have to mention the single take scene from pre climax. He had given such performance in some of his flop films previously but the massive success here has given this act bigger reach. One hopes he continues to incorporate such performance oriented moments in his future films as well.
