Tamil top hero Vijay’s upcoming movie ‘Kaththi’ recently released its first look on the actor’s birthday. The makers of the film have also released couple of stills and a motion poster which, we now hear, to be a copy of the popular Sabah Newspaper TV Commercial (Watch it below). While the original Ad commercial shows icons of New York City and Istanbul, the designers of ‘Kaththi’ were smart enough to replace the images with the landmarks of Chennai images without giving any credits to the original ad makers.
For those who are not aware, this is not the first time that the filmmaker and actor duo, Murugadoss and Vijay, have to face allegations of plagiarism. The same issue had been mentioned in their previous film ‘Thuppakki’ which was said to be copied from the poster of the Richard Gere starrer ‘An Officer and a Gentleman’.
