Gunasekhar:
The first name is also a game-changing one for Mahesh Babu. Gunasekhar was a proven director with several flicks before Okkadu. And his pace suggests the disastrous result of Mrugaraju might not be an issue. But, the epic failure surely dented his reputation big time. With Okkadu, not only did Gunasekhar bounces back; it also established Mahesh Babu as a star.
Puri Jagannadh:
After a dream debut, Puri Jagannadh really came into his own with Itlu Shravani Subrahmanyam and Idiot. He did not look back since then until the roadblock came with much-hyped Andhrawala. Successive failures followed it. Luckily for him, Pokiri followed them. Not only did Puri hit back with a vengeance, and attained next level of stardom, the movie established Mahesh Babu as Superstar.
Srinu Vaitla:
Srinu Vaitla has been working with second league heroes since his debut. His first major biggie proved to be a setback. Vaitla bounced back with Dhee but again was not able to deliver the blockbuster with star heroes. And then, Dookudu happened. Both the director and Mahesh Babu benefitted with success. For the first time in his career, Mahesh Babu set opening day and week records. Srinu Vaitla reached the peak of his career, as well.
Will Parasuram join the same league is the question, now?
Ever since a film with Mahesh Babu, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, has been announced, Parasuram has become the talk of the town. There is a positive buzz around him and the project.
