The cases in Telugu states are slowly declining and that is the reason, Tollywood will see multiple releases this weekend. As many as four releases in the form of Khiladi, DJ Tillu, Sehari, and FIR will be coming out.
Out of these four, DJ Tillu has created a good buzz for itself mainly because of its hit title song. Apart from that, the trailer lived up to the hype, and the press meet controversy about Neha Shetty has given the film free publicity.
Also, Tollywood has not seen a proper romantic and fun subject in the last few months. Mainly, Siddhu’s loud DJ character and Telangana slang which he mouths, has clicked with the youth.
As DJ Tillu is filled with romance, double-meaning dialogues, and a fresh actor like Siddhu Jonnalagadda, there is a chance for it to become a surprise hit this week. Sithara Entertainments has been aggressively promoting the film to take it to the audience. And the promotions have worked wonders for the film.
For Siddhu, DJ Tillu is his first major release on the big screen and he has pinned a lot of hopes on this project. His previous OTT film, Krishna, and his Leela won him decent applause but not the recognition he wanted.
Last but not the least, the masses have been vexed sitting at home due to the lack of youthful films at the box office. If at all this film manages to get a good talk, it will give a good boost to Siddhu’s career and the dull box office. DJ is co-written by hero Siddhu Jonnalgadda and director Vimal Krishna.
