We have to wait and see what ‘Arjun Reddy’ fans will say when they watch ‘Adithya Varma’, the Tamil remake of the Telugu blockbuster. Both the Telugu original and the Hindi remake were close to each other when it comes to violence on women shown in the name of love.
So, will the Tamil movie able to live up to that image and expectations? Vikram knows that his son is no Shahid Kapoor or Vijay Deverakonda. Dhruv will be more a college going guy and not like the above-said stars in ‘Arjun Reddy’ and ‘Kabir Singh’.
So, the extreme masochism and bravery wouldn’t be there and Dhruv would be a bit more innocent than the lead character in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s films as the makers had lowered the shock values of the remake.
