Theatres Covid19Telangana government has allowed all activities in the state from June 1st by relaxing the Lockdown completely. The industry is waiting for the theaters in Andhra Pradesh to open as well so that they can plan the movie releases but then, it looks like that may take more time.

Andhra Pradesh government has decided to continue night Lockdown in the state. In eight districts where the positivity rate is less than 5%, the relaxation time is from 6 am to 9 pm. Shops and hotels allowed to shut down by 10 pm. These restrictions will be in effect from July 1st to 7th.

In East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Chittoor, Prakasam districts where the positivity is more than 5%, the curfew will continue from 6 pm to 6 am. That means the theaters opening is delayed and it is not going to happen at least before July 7th. Moreover, it is no use if the Lockdown restrictions are relaxed only in a few districts.
