Re-Opening Theaters Not As Easy As It Appears #SaveCinemaresTollywood Stars Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna met Telangana Chief Minister KCR at Pragathi Bhavan on Saturday and handed over the cheques promised by various film personalities for Hyderabad Floods. They have also discussed the development and expansion of the film industry in Telangana State.

In the meeting, the Chief Minister had agreed to allow the re-opening of the theaters and the official G.O. will be released very soon. Earlier the exhibitors of Telangana agreed to open the theaters with limited capacity but the Government did not allow them.

Neighbouring Andhra Pradesh has allowed the theaters and the theater owners who are willing to take the risk have opened. In all probability, the multiplexes across the state may open partially later this week. It has to be seen how the response of the Public will be.

The Chief Minister also agreed to set up a world-class film city for Hyderabad. The government will acquire 1,500-2,000 acres for this purpose. Plots will be allocated to the film production companies to set up studios with state-of-the-art technology, the CM assured them.
