The-Rajinikanth-Way-Killing-Suriya-(NGK)Suriya’s NGK has ended up as a big disaster at the Box Office. The movie has collected a paltry 3.3 Crore Share from both the Telugu States which is nothing when we consider Suriya’s market here. KK Radhamohan who bagged the film for 8 Crore will be taking a home a balance sheet with 5 Crore Loss.

Leaving aside NGK, Suriya’s track record for the last few years is more or less the same. Probably, the Telugu market is the reason for Suriya’s plight. Inspired by Rajinikanth, Suriya tried his level best to have an equally good market in Telugu and Tamil. He is after scripts to satisfy the audience on both the sides and that is backfiring.

NGK is an outright disaster in Telugu while it has opened well in Tamil. His 24 worked well in Telugu but bombed at the Tamil Box Office. So, the actor is struggling to find scripts which will cater to the needs of both the audience. As a result, forget about the market in Telugu, he is losing ground in Tamil Nadu as well.

After Ghajini, Suriya looked like will have a market on par with Top league heroes. Ghajini was released way back in 2005 and Suriya only undid the good things that happened to him after Ghajini. Things are more or less the same for Suriya’s Brother, Karthi as well.
