Just in from the movie world is the news that Priyanka Chopra has consented to feature in a promotional song of ‘Zanzeer’ alongside Ram Charan. Zanzeer that is expected to be released early next year is being directed by Apoorva Lakhia, with actors Ram Charan and Priyanka reprising the roles of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan respectively in the recreation of the revenge drama.
Recently the producer of the film Amit Mehra, who is the son of late Prakash Mehra announced the news, saying, “Yes, we have a promotional song in the film which will be shot in January 2013. This is a special song with Priyanka and Ram Charan. But I want to clarify that we are not mixing any songs from the original version. It will be altogether a fresh song.”
When asked about the shooting dates, Amit said, “We have our next schedule from the mid of November in Hydrabad. It’s a 20-day schedule. Later we will come back to Mumbai. We have one more schedule in Mumbai in December.”
