Bollywood doesn't need a no-flop record

For years the south Indian film industry has been the stepping stone for the Hindi film industry and apparently nothing has changed. Nowadays, most Tollywood actresses are migrating off to Bollywood for a better career and fame and are also doing quite well considering their past records. Taking instances from the careers of actresses Deeksha Seth and Taapsee, it can easily be said that a no-flop film record is not required to work in a Bollywood movie.

Deeksha, who has starred in several Tamil and Telugu movies, is about to make her debut in the Hindi film industry along with debutante actor Armaan Jain, the cousin of Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Actress Taapsee has already made her Bollywood debut with ‘Chashme Baddoor’, a David Dhawan film and has ever since been getting more offers. At present, the actress is working on a romantic comedy ‘Running Shaadi.com’ directed by Amit Roy. These two heroines failed miserably in Telugu despite acting with big heroes and good production houses. But Bollywood does not care about the their flop record.
