YS Jagan Mohan Reddy-owned Sakshi media had published a story on the occasion of the Chief Minister’s Two years rule. The story mentions a flood of investments to Andhra Pradesh under Jagan. According to it, there are proposals for 38,000 Crore worth investments to the state, and 6,234 Crore worth investments were already grounded.
The article also mentions that 39,578 people got employment with already grounded investments. And 117 companies are gearing up with the rest of 31,668 Crore investment. Besides this, the article also claimed 4,383 Crore investments in small and medium-range industries, 2,000 Crore in electronics, and 250 Crore in IT.
The article has gone viral on social media. The Opposition taunts Sakshi for fake numbers. “Ever since Jagan Mohan Reddy came to power, there is no single big-ticket investment that has come to Andhra Pradesh. In fact, the companies which have previously committed turned back. This is just a joke”, they ridicule.
The article does not mention the name of any company and the quantum of investment they made. Let us see if the government or Sakshi will come up with a detailed list refuting the allegations!
