Before the release of the film Baahubali many top stars from Telugu cinema had wished the unit great success and wanted the film to be seen as torch bearer of quality and commercial stamina coming from Telugu cinema.
Many of them even congratulated the film post release too but it has been mostly off the records. However for the first time a big star from Telugu cinema has openly praised the unit of Baahubali to skies. Superstar Mahesh Babu on his Twitter account made this comments just like any regular movie lover would do and thus his tweets found instant resonance with everyone.
Mahesh Babu said that he was proud of the entire unit of Baahubali for showing the true potential of Telugu cinema with Baahubali which even he didn’t believe existed prior to the film. That’s a very good gesture from the Superstar himself showering a film that he has not part of with praises. Goes on to show why the star is Superstar and so loved in the first place.
