Young Kannada beauty Sree Leela made her Tollywood debut with last year’s romantic entertainer, Pelli SandaD, opposite Srikanth’s son Rohan Meka. Sree Leela got good marks from the youth for her glamorous looks and grabbed a couple of Tollywood films.
Reportedly, she is acting as the female lead in Ravi Teja starrer Dhamaka. Being directed by Trinadharao Nakkina, the film’s shooting is underway at a fast pace. Later, Sree Leela has Nithiin and Vakkantham Vamsi’s project in the pipeline. Tentatively titled Nithiin 32, the film will go on the floors soon.
Apart from the above films, Sree Leela is finalized as the female lead in Anaganaga Oka Raju with Naveen Polisetty, and also Panja Vaishnav Tej’s untitled film with Sithara Entertainments. She also has Vaaraahi Chalana Chitra Telugu-Kannada bilingual project in her kitty. As per the industry buzz, Sree Leela even accepted to do the daughter role in NBK and Anil Ravipudi’s film.
Sree Leela has quite a number of projects in her hand, but none of them look promising enough to make an impact for her. The reports say that her role in these lowkey films might be restricted to two scenes and some song and dance routines.
The talk in film circles is that she needs to do films that will project her as the next big thing if she wants to be cast opposite star heroes in Tollywood.
