Unlike in Bollywood where the heroines have to allot certain dates for their films’ publicity alone, Kollywood heroines are regular in missing the promotional events. They miss even the big events like audio launch functions and success meets.
Nayanatara stands first in this category and other heroines like Nitya Menen, Samantha, Hansika, Radhika Apte and Tamanna are found repeatedly missing the promotions of their new films. Most of these heroines who are missing promotions are in demand at present and hence they can manage having their own way.
The small and new heroines can’t take that leniency to miss out on promotional activities. Are the senior heroines too arrogant to attend promotions? Here in South, we don’t have a definitive rule that lead actresses must spare dates for promotions. But in Bollywood, heroines had to sign on dotted lines regarding promotions. That makes the difference.
