ban on maggieThe household name, 2-minute maggie noodles debate on using harmful glutamines is gripping like fever all over the country. Besides many Indian States imposing ban on ‘Maggie noodles”, a few others countries inspired by our voice are also following suit and imposing ban in their countries.

Superstars and star actors get a big source of income from brand endorsemens who might have never used them in their lifetime but suggest us to use those products. For example we have Allu Arjun endorsing for ‘7 Up’, Mahesh Babu for ‘Thumbs Up’ and Akhil Akkineni for ‘Mountain Dew’.

Surprisingly all these soft drinks products are alleged to have high amounts of pesicides which are actually detrimental in health point of view. Almost all the top stars in Bollywood endorse big brands which had led them into controversy. It’s not only about foods and beverages, many jewellery ads like Kalyan Jewellers, Jos Alukas, Nakshatra Diamonds also have been big crowd pullers because of stars endorsing their brands.

Housing ventures and real estate too look promising when big names endorse them but sometimes we’ve heard how common man is tricked using stars’ name and later cheated. Only one simple question to ourselves. Do stars really use their products for aleast a considerable time before endorsing them?
