The Telugu OTT space is set to welcome two blockbuster films this Dasara holiday weekend. The said films are Karthikeya 2 and Bimbisara.
Both Bimbisara and Karthikeya 2 were box office blockbusters and they had a merry run at the ticket counters.
Karthikeya 2 is confirmed to arrive on ZEE5 on the 5th October. In all likelihood, Bimbisara will also be streaming on ZEE5 from the same weekend – 7th October
Karthikeya 2 is a mystery thriller, a genre particularly popular in the OTT space. And also it has been quite a while since the Telugu OTT space saw a proper mystery thriller. So, there’s a lot of scope for the Nikhil starrer.
As for Bimbisara, the film is a period action drama. It too can attract a section of the audience.
Also, there’s Vaishnav Tej’s Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga which is set to stream on Netflix from the 2nd of October.
