Without any doubt one can say that ‘Manam’ is a special movie in Tollywood. Doing a film with three generation actors from the same family is a unique concept, which wasn’t touched by anyone till date in South Film Industry. Nagarjuna really made it a memorable one because Akkineni’s family movie happens to be the last movie of the legendary actor Akkineni Nageshwar Rao.

Apart from Akkineni familiy, there are few other families in Tollywood, who have three generation actors. One is Venky’s Daggubati family with Rama Naidu, Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati . And the other one is Saikumar’s Pudipeddi family with P.J.Sharma, Saikumar and Aditya Pudipeddi (Aadi). There is already a buzz that Daggubati family is planning a family film like ‘Manam’ and hence lot of story sittings are happening to select a unique concept for their family ‘Manam’.

The latest buzz happens to be on Pudipeddi family. Inspired by Akkineni’s family film ‘Manam’, Saikumar reveals that he too wants to make their family movie. They are on look out for a good story and if everything falls into place as desired, they would start shooting for their ‘Manam’ on 23rd December, which also happens to be Aadi’s birthday.

Only few movies are said to be trend setting movies. ‘Manam’ definitely falls into that category. Hereafter the word ‘Manam’ would be used synonymous to any family movie made with more than two generation actors starring in the same movie. After the standards set by Akkineni family ‘Manam’, the audience would surely expect the same standards in the upcoming Manams. The word itself signifies the feeling of togetherness. Hail, ANR’s glory!
