One of Telugu cinema’s popular character artists Telangana Shakuntala breathed her last on Saturday. The 63-year old died of cardiac arrest. She was admitted to the hospital around 2.30 am last night after she succumbed to cardiac arrest at her residence. She was declared dead on arrival. Shakuntala, who made her cinematic debut in 1981 Telugu film “Maa Bhoomi”, went on to act in 74 films. Telugu comedy “Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda” was her last film, which released earlier this year.
