Telugu Indian Idol is slowly getting enough attention from the audience and the music lovers. Hosted by Sreerama Chandra, this official version of the Indian Idol is premiering on Aha Video. Thaman, Nithya Menen and Karthik are the judges of the show. In the current episode, the contestants picked songs surrounding wedding and performed the same on the stage.
Currently, there are 8 contestants in the show, and everyone is performing well.
Participant 1: Vagdevi
Wow Star Vagdevi is the first participant in the episode. She crooned ‘Aha Na pelli Anta’ from the film Maya Bazar and impressed everyone. Nithya Menen commented that Vagdevi could have used the scope to smile a little more and perform the song. Other than that, she received positive compliments.
Participant 2: Jayanth
Jayanth crooned ‘Tella Tella Vaare Velugula’ from the film Geetha Govindam. The judges suggested to him to not put his finger into the ears and get tensed unnecessarily. They suggested that he should sing without any tension to which he agreed.
Participant 3: Pranathi
Pranathi crooned the most famous ‘Alanati Bala Chandrudu’ song from the film Murari. The song has come out well and the judges praised her. However, her pitch was a little out and Thaman pointed it out, suggesting to her that she should pick one note higher than what she had sung now. She agreed to the same.
Participant 4: Renu Kumar
Renu Kumar put up an energetic performance with ‘Don’t Marry, Be Happy’ song from the film Manmathudu. He performed the song so well and impressed the judges. He used the stage perfectly and has given his best. Nithya even complimented that Renu tried to imitate SPB.
*Contestants imitated Judges*
On a funny note, the team played a video where the contestants imitated the judges. Lalasa imitated Thaman while Pranathi imitated Nithya Menen. Aditi imitated Karthik. Everyone enjoyed it.
