Telugu Indian Idol is slowly getting attention in the OTT space. Sreerama Chandra is the host of the singing reality show and there are three star judges in the house. Nithya Menen, Thaman, and Karthik are the judges. The second day of the Theatre round took place on Saturday, resulting in the organizers picking the top 12 contestants.
Manya from Tirupathi crooned Pranavalaya song from Shyam Singha Roy. Jaskaran crooned Maguva Maguva from Vakeel Saab. Pranathi crooned Pilla Gali Allari from Athadu. Renu from Tirupathi crooned Dhari Choopu Mama from Krishnarjuna Yudhham. Harsha’s result was kept on hold. Jayanth from Pedda Palli crooned O Nadu Washington lo from Greekuveerudu. Lakshmi Sravani from Kothagudem crooned Yele Yele from Aata. Vaishnavi crooned Snehithuda from Sakhi.
Already, Vagdevi and Srinivas bagged Golden Mike on Friday. On Saturday, the judges gave the Golden mike to Pranathi and Lakshmi Sravani.
Among the other contestants, the judges picked 8 members for the top 12.

The selection process was interesting. All the 12 members that were selected by the judges are highly talented. There are a couple of other contestants who did not get selected despite having a good voice and talent. For a few contestants, the judges promised that they would contact them again in the coming days. So far, the audition round and the theatre round did not give enough kick to the viewers, and let us hope that the coming rounds will not disappoint the audience.
Coming Up Next
In the next round, the show started on a high-voltage note with the singers crooning La La Bheemla song, along with a special performance from Ram Miriyala. The promo looks interesting and we look forward to the next episode.
