Telugu Indian Idol is one of the popular singing reality shows in the OTT space. Hosted by Sreerama Chandra, the singing show is slowly attracting music listeners. After an interesting “Double Dhamaka” episode yesterday, the contestants are back again to entertain the music lovers with yet another “Double Dhamaka” episode.
Participant 1: Vaishnavi with Prudhvi Chandra
The duo crooned Hey Nayak song from the film Nayak. Prudhvi Chandra rocked the stage with an electrifying performance and it has unanimously grabbed a Bomma Blockbuster performance.
Participant 2: Jayanth with Damini
Jayanth picked up ‘Vaaru Veeru’ from Deva Dasu. The song is a little different from what Jayanth has tried so far. The song is impressive and everyone liked it. However, Nithya felt like it was not Jayanth’s best.
Participant 3: Vagdevi with Hema Chandra
Aale Baale from Theenmaar is performed by Vagdevi and Hema Chandra. It was picked as a Bomma Blockbuster performance by everyone. Hema Chandra crooned the song again along with his wife Sravana Bhargavi.
Participant 4: Pranathi with Mohana Bhogaraju
Pranathi and Mohana sang O Bava song from the film Prathi Roju Pandage. Nithya Menen felt like Pranathi’s voice lacked a little energy. But, overall, she received positive compliments.
Participant 5: Renu with Sravana Bhargavi
This is also a Bomma Blockbuster performance from Renu Kumar. Sravana Bhargavi elevated Renu Kumar’s performance. Renu crooned Kottina Tittina song from the film Badshah.
Special Guest: Cricketer Hanuma Vihari
Hanuma Vihari attended the show as a special guest. He complimented the performances of some of the contestants. Music director Thaman who is one of the judges of the show also gave a special gift to Vihari. Thaman gifted a special bat to the Telugu cricketer and he promised to use it in one of the International matches.
