A short film titled ‘Strangerssss’ by Hyderabad-based filmmaker Jennifer Alphonse is delighted that her movie is going to Cannes Film Festival, 2014, one of the premiere film festivals in the world. Jennifer Alphonse who is the writer and director n Co- producer of this Film won Three Nandi Awards and an International Award for her first Short Film “Kachra” and also worked on many ads and documentaries. She has also been an Associate Director for well known Tollywood films.
She said that Its a dream come true but this movie getting selected at Cannes is because of my incredible team support, each and every person went out of their way to help me out in finishing this project. We went through a lot of hardship to complete this film, everyday was a challenge. I never thought this film could ever finish, but finally we did.
I must thank especially Basi Reddy who came in to fund this project when i was totally broke with no money left. Well known Bollywood actor Pitobash who is now featuring in a Hollywood Film Million Dollar arm did this film only because he liked the script n dint charge me at all.
