But, of late, brands aren’t using movies to promote their films, especially in Tollywood. Now producers themselves are in-branding their other businesses through their films.
In the latest release Dhamaka, the producers, People’s Media Factory, have promoted their own brand throughout the film. The film is based in a corporate setup, and they have utilized this backdrop to promote their brand.
Previously also, Naga Shaurya’s production house, IRA creations, promoted their brand heavily in their film Krishna Vrinda Vihari.
Many producers in Tollywood are involved in other businesses like Real Estate, IT companies, Restaurant businesses, and others. They are using their own films to promote their other businesses, which is proving to be a smart strategy.
