In a recent discovery, it has emerged that the film critics of the Telugu movie industry are not really expressing their own views and opinions regarding the films they write about. Faced with an unusual situation where the same critics who are supposed to give their judgment on the movie are the one who go to interview or meet the actor or director of the movie, these critics are unable to express themselves in fear of embarrassment.
Also, there seems to be school of thought in the Telugu movie industry where it is believed that the film should be given at least a week to get a good business in before posting the true reviews. With these deteriorating standards of criticism in the Telugu film industry, it is being noted that the so called critical reviews have become more of a speculation or a promotional stunt rather than the true and honest opinion of the critic himself.
