Priyadarshi has not restricted himself to only films, but forayed into digital medium with Loser, last year for Aha. He then went on to another film Mail with Aha and he is continuing his tryst with the OTT platform as he signed another web series In The name Of God.
In the web series, Priyadarshi is paired alongside NandiniRai, which marks her first digital debut and also stars senior actor Posani Murali Krishna, who plays the husband of Nandini Rai. The web series sees Nandini killing her husband and in order to evade from the murder, she takes help of Priyadarshi.The Popular comedian agrees to help her by driving the body, in the hope of getting to sleep with her.
Things however turn upside down after Nandini realizes that the body is in the jeep trunk. The premise looks interesting and In The name Of God is set for premiere on May 21. The year 2021 started on a good note for Priyadarshi as Jathi ratnalu made on a shoe-string budget went on to churn out good moolah at the box-office.
Of late, Aha has been coming up with out-of-the-box plots to entertain Telugu audience. Anasuya Bharadwaj’s Thank You Brother is set for Aha premiere on May 7, then dubbed film Athiran will release in May second week.
