When the Tamil Film Producers Council is strictly following the strike to resolve many issues related to the industry, the theatres in both Tamil Nadu and Kerala are suffering from no new releases from 1st March, onwards.
One of the theatre owners had come up with an intelligent idea to screen Shakeela’s soft porn movies from her hay days to fill his theatre. So, a week-long screening of Shakeela’s films had begun from 6th April and this will continue until 12th April. It’s like ‘Shakeela’s Film Festival’ and do you have any doubt that the theatre is running full, all the shows.
There had been a time when Shakeela even became a major threat for Malayalam superstars Mammooty and Mohanlal and there was a protest against her to ban her movies.
