A 20 year old girl, a college student hailing fron Enumamula village was allegedly gang-raped by four persons in front of her boy friend on Saturday in the outskirts of Warangal city. The girl and her boy friend were returning from Balaji Nagar area of Enumamula agricultural market.
Four persons have waylaid them and thrashed the boy before gang-raping the girl. A complaint was registered in Intezargunj police station regarding this case on Saturday. Police reportedly already detained four suspects and are interrogating them.
The girl is currently in a state of shock and is recovering from the trauma. This incident had cast a sense of fear in the parents of the surrounding areas.The incident reminded about the Nirbhaya Gang rape that shook the entire nation few years ago and caught the attention of the whole World.
