Teja Sajja is one hero who has two theatrical releases after the both wave of Corona. His Zombie Reddy released immediately after the first wave and Ishq released after the second wave. While Zombie Reddy worked commercially, Ishq failed at the box office.
Meanwhile, Teja Sajja‘s next film, Adbhutham has been pending from a long time. The makers have decided to skip its theatrical release despite the theatrical business slowly coming back to normal in both the Telugu states. The movie will now have a Direct-to-OTT release.
Star MAA and Disney+ Hotstar bagged the Satellite and OTT Rights of the movie. Buzz is that they were paid around 7 Crore for these rights. The Hindi and other dubbing rights will fetch them some more revenu. The Hotstar release is likely to happen in November.
The official announcement will be out in a week. Adbhutham has Rajashekar’s daughter, Shivani as the female lead. Mallik Ram, who earlier directed the web series Pelli Gola, is directing the film, which is being produced jointly by Mahateja Creations and S Originals banners. Rathan composes the music.
On the other side, Teja Sajja will be next seen in upcoming film Hanu Man which will be directed by his Zombie Reddy director Prashanth Varma. Hanu Man is said to be the first ever Original Super hero film in Telugu film industry.
