Ashwin Gangaraju’s maiden directorial, Aakaashavani has kickstarted its promotions. SS Rajamouli has released the film’s teaser, a short while ago. The first thing about the teaser is its breath-taking visuals. The tribal hamlet setup of the period drama looks fresh.
The makers chose to keep the actual story a secret but they were successful in evoking interest with its premise and by keeping the audience guessing. Samuthirakani is seen in the final frame and he looks to be playing the role of a school teacher.
Somehow, the set up in a tribal hamlet, the people there worshiping a strange object, a new school teacher sensing something wrong all reminds of the famous ‘The Gods Must Be Crazy (1980). But then, the teaser offers too little to arrive at such a conclusion.
The makers concluded the teaser by saying the movie will be in theaters very soon.
