Telugu Desam Party and Bharatiya Janta Party also started making moves to garner the support of the settlers in the upcoming GHMC elections. They have announced that they will be allotting Deputy Mayor Post to a person belonging to settlers community.
The parties will kick-start the election campaign with the huge public meeting tomorrow at Nizam College Grounds. TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu will be attending the meeting. Both the parties will be coming up with a common manifesto on 13th of this month for the elections.
On the other side, both the parties have yet to finalize the seat sharing for the election. Both the parties will announce the first list of the candidates after Sankranthi and the final list will be released just a day before nominations to avoid rebels.
