Popular Tamil star Ilayathalapathy Vijay is going to sing a song alongside supremely talented and gifted singer Shreya Ghosal. Fans are already over the moon after hearing the news. This song is being recorded by music director D Imman for the film Jilla where Vijay pairs up with his Thupakki co-star Kajal. Apart from them Malayalam superstar Mohan Lal too would be seen playing an important role in the film.
Not many might know this but singing isn’t new to Vijay. He has sung many songs in the past with the most recent one being his song for the film Thalaivaa his last release. It is needless to say that they have been very popular as well. However most of those have been solo songs and this would be a first especially singing with someone like Shreya Ghosal.
Jilla is directed by Naesen and produced by RB Chowdhary on Super Good Films banner. The film is slated to have a Pongal 2014 release. Vijay who is currently in form of his life is expecting Jilla to be another blockbuster in his repertoire. Interestingly this film clashes with another star Ajith’s film. It’s like a Pawan Kalyan and a Mahesh Babu film releasing together for the uninitiated. And those who know of their star status who do you think is going to emerge as Pongal 2014 winner?
