Tamil star Dhanush’s next film under the direction of young filmmaker Venky Atluri got formally launched today in Hyderabad. The bilingual film (Telugu and Tamil) is titled Sir/ Vaathi.
The film sees Trivikram Srinivas entering into production, which has his wife Soujanya Srinivas as the face of it via Fortune Four Cinemas banner. Along with them, Sithara Entertainments is the co-producer.
Actor Dhanush has given top priority to Trivikram Srinivas. Wondering how? The actor has long back announced his first Telugu project with Sekhar Kammula. However, even before starting that film, Dhanush is set to start Venky Atluri’s film which has Trivikram Srinivas’s backing. Starring Samyuktha Menon, the regular shoot will commence from January 5.
The bilingual film (Telugu and Tamil) is said to be about the common man’s ambitious journey essayed by Dhanush. As the title denotes, the plot has a college milieu and more will be known in the offing.
Dhanush is known for picking up offbeat yet realistic scripts. Thus the film has held curiosity among Telugu audiences and with the backing of Trivikram Srinivas, the buzz around the film has surged further.
