Tamil hero turned producer, Dhanush must be the one who is feeling on the top of the world now for his production venture going to be the official entry from India for the Academy Awards to be held next year in February.
‘Visaranai’ is based on the real-life experiences of Tamil migrants who are picked by Police in Guntur and successfully portrays the brutality of the police. It is selected for the Oscar race in the Foreign Feature Film Category.
The movie was directed by Vetrimaaran and produced under Dhanush’s Wunderbar Productions.The film already won three National Awards for best film, best supporting actor, best editing categories and was also selected for 72nd Venice Film Festival in the competition section.
