Dhanush’s latest release ‘VIP’ turned out to be a decent hit in Tamil but if we look deep in to this, the lead actor and producer of the film Dhanush cleverly stayed away from releasing the Telugu versoin realizing the fact that his Telugu market is very limited. After the Tamil release his idea seems to be working well for Telugu. According to sources, VIP, which is set to be made in Hindi next year is heading towards Tollywood as few top producers are vying for the remake rights.
Tollywood film makers seeing a big advantage with VIP plot as it does not require a big budget but if the remake is handled well, plot would ensure return on investment. Dhanush, the producer of VIP is keen on selling Telugu remake rights soon as the film sees no demand from Kannada and Malayalam industries.
