Following some serious illnesses, Rajinikanth has apparently ceased smoking as well as the intake of alcohol, and during a recent event, pointed out the various side effects of these habits to his devoted fans. The superstar told his fans how cigarettes and liquor have spoiled his major organs and asked his fans to quit those habits and take care of their own family well.
With the advice of the superstar in mind, doting fans showed their support by burning cigarettes and also by taking an oath to stop smoking. If reports are to be believed, the fan clubs are also involved in organizing and taking part in many anti-smoking rallies and spreading the awareness to other people.
