In the recently concluded IIFA awards event, ‘Baahubali’ won some awards in Tamil films category. Senior actor Radha Ravi, father of Radhika is not happy with the way ‘Baahubali’ was bestowed with awards in the Tamil category. The film had many Tamil actors playing prominent roles and it is a bilingual.
Radha Ravi praises Telugu cine folks saying that they wouldn’t have allowed such decisions which are unfair. He even went on to say that some Telugu cine folks had apprehensions on Baahubali getting awards and hence the organizers did injustice by giving away the awards in Tamil category.
Sathyaraj, who played Kattappa won award for the film while Radha Ravi was expecting his character in ‘Pissasu’ to win the award. Baahubali is not a total Tamil film. It’s a Telugu film and it’s unfair says the senior actor who was known for his negative roles since 40 years.
