Actress Tamannah has been busy these days with the shooting of her films Aagadu and Humshakals. However, this does nothing to deter filmmakers from approaching her with new scripts. According to the recent buzz, Tamannah has been approached to take on a role opposite Puneet rajkumar in his upcoming film. It is rumoured that the name of the film is going to Ranavikrama and it will be directed under Pawan Wadeyar, who has previously worked as a director for Manchu Manoj’s Potugadu.
This trend of Kannada filmmakers looking for actresses from other languages is not new. Quite a few filmmakers have done this for their big films. Case in point is actress Trisha who was approached to play the lead in the Kannada remake of Dookudu with Puneet Rajkumar. There also were rumours about Kajal Aggrawal being approached for a big budget film.
