Pelli Choopulu’ turned out to be a surprise hit in the Telugu Film Industry and proved once again that content will always be the ruler. The Tamil remake rights of the movie were bought by filmmaker Gautam Menon, who is going to produce the remake, while his protege Senthil Veeraswamy will helm the project.
According to the latest information available on the remake, it is learnt that Tamanna might be playing the female lead role in the movie and there would be a new face to play the male lead. However, one is sure to wonder if such a young and fresh bachelor role will suit Tamanna, at this age.
Ritu Varma, who played the heroine in the Telugu film was young and a fresh face in Telugu films. Playing a girl next door struggling to make a career was a cakewalk for her. For ‘Happy Days’ and ‘100% Love’, Tamanna was a perfect fit as she was comparatively younger with innocent looks then.
Now, she is almost like a senior actress and one would wonder if such roles suit her. There would be one benefit for sure. The milky beauty’s presence would be helpful to lift the prospects of the trade.
