Jersey is the last film in Telugu industry that opened to highest ratings by critics and all big stars promoted the film on their social media accounts but the film did not do any wonders at the box office neither in Telugu states or overseas. When it comes to the US it is hardly a break-even venture for the buyers and the same when it’s aired on TV.
But Nani surely expected it to be a blockbuster but is living with the less than expected result of the film. Now when one speaks about the same, how he feels about the performance of Jersey at the box office, he gets furious. In a recent interview, the actor vents out his frustration to the question as he argues to justify Jersey to be a blockbuster to its genre.
How can you say it is not enough to be blockbuster when it collected 30 crores worldwide despite not having the selling elements like romance, love story, fight or sex?, is what he says and even took his commercial hit MCA into the debate quoting what people said back then if Nani would only stick to the commercial films like MCA and when he did a good film like Jersey, they ask if he is not going to beat what he set with MCA collections wise.
Anyway, he is coming with a revenge entertainer, Gang Leader and let’s see if it wipes out all his frustration and make people forget about Jersey not being a blockbuster.Don't MissMahesh Talked About Clash with Allu ArjunWhen 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' and 'Ala Vaikumthapurramloo' clash became inevitable, the blame went to Mahesh Babu...Don't MissModi and Amit Shah Leave Jagan Tensed?Andhra Pradesh Government is likely to repeal the AP CRDA act in the Assembly on...Don't Miss#FakeKaBaapAlluArjun & #FakeQweenMaheshbabu - Shameful! The fan wars in the film industry can turn nasty when it comes to faking...Don't MissCan Music Change World Famous Lover Fate?World Famous Lover is the upcoming film of Vijay Deverkonda.
