Prashanth Varma is one talented filmmaker who made a mark on the Cinema right with his first film, Awe!. The movie even bagged a couple of National Awards. However, he faltered with his second film, Kalki. Prashanth claims the failure is due to the story of another writer.
He is currently making a film on a virus contagion, a first of its kind in Telugu Cinema. The young filmmaker will also make his Digital Debut very soon. He reportedly signed a couple of Web-Series already and one of them is for Hotstar+Disney. However, the details of these web-series are yet to be revealed.
It is not clear when they will go on the floors. Prashanth is currently shooting for the Virus film taking all the necessary precautions. In fact, it is one of the very few films which started shooting braving the current situation. The motion poster of the film will be released soon and the director is planning to reveal the film’s story with that.
Given the unique subjects Prashanth Varma chooses, his web-series will be interesting to watch for.
