The talented Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi is back in the news again. While previously he lost out on a project due to outrage by the Tamil community, this time it is personal fitness.
If the latest reports doing the rounds in the industry are to be believed, Vijay Sethupathi is dropped from Laal Singh Chaddha. The Bollywood biggie features none other than Aamir Khan in the lead and is one of the most awaited releases in 2021.
The weight of Vijay Sethupathi is said to be the reason for his removal from the project. It (out of shape) has been a problem with Vijay from some time. He had committed to losing some kilos from Laal Singh Chaddha. With Vijay Sethupathi failing to do the needed on time, he has been replaced.
In fact, it was Vijay Sethupathi who had in the past confirmed that he is going to share screen space with Aamir Khan. Since then there is keen anticipation on the biggie among the fans of the Tamil hero.
The latest development, therefore, has come as a disappointment. We are still not sure who is going to be Sethupathi’s replacement. The media reports suggest that Manav Vij has replaced him. But, that is not true as he was part of the project long back and plays a different character.
An official confirmation regarding the replacement is still awaited, though. Laal Singh Chaddha is a remake of Hollywood classic Forrest Gump. Kareena Kapoor Khan plays the heroine in the movie. It is slated to hit the screens for Christmas 2021.
