‘Nishabdham’ will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video platform from 2nd October onwards and there is a curiosity around the film as Anushka Shetty will be seen playing a dumb woman character.
The director of the movie, Hemanth Madhukar revealed that he had Taapsee and Madhavan in mind for the project but, Taapsee had issues with her schedules. So, when Anushka heard this story, she was interested.
Initially, the director was inspired by legendary Singeetam Srinivas’ ‘Pushpaka Vimanam’ and wrote the story as a silent film. But, when Kona Venkat heard the story, he thought it has the potential to be a bigger film and hence, added dialogues.
Besides enviable star cast from Telugu and Tamil, the director also roped in some actors in the US for authenticity and they would be seen speaking in English. The English version of the movie would probably be released in 2021.
