Taapsee is coming up with a new sci-fi time travel film titled Dobaaraa. The film is a remake of the Spanish thriller Mirage and is directed by artistic and creative director Anurag Kashyap.
The film is releasing this Friday, but its buzz is too low, and it will open in just lakhs. The lifetime business of the film will be worse than Kangana Ranaut’s Dhaakad.
Trade analysts are predicting that this will be Taapsee’s second disaster in a row after the cricket biopic Shabaash Mithu. When big-budget star films in Bollywood are falling flat on their faces, this film is bound to be rejected.
Also, there’s this hate campaign going on against Bollywood, and Taapsee and Anurag Kashyap have ruffled many feathers of the right-wing in the past. All that is going to haunt them through the box office run of Dobaaraa.
Taapsee will make a comeback with Raj Kumar Hirani’s Dunki starring Shah Rukh Khan.
