It is that time of the week where multiple releases happen on various OTT platforms. One such film which makes up for a gripping watch is the Tamil drama Taankkaran starring Vikram Prabhu.
The cop drama has skipped its direct release and has come out on Disney Hotstar. Directed by Thamizh, the film also has Anjali Nair.
The film is based on a real story in the late nineties in Tamil Nadu and deals with the trainees at Police Recruit’s School.
Though the entire film happens in a single location, it will not bother one bit as the narration and performances are such in the film.
The setting, narration and realistic storytelling are hard hitting and the drama showcased is impressive and will make for a gripping OTT watch this weekend.
