Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Magnum Opus film, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy has entered the crucial first weekend at the Box Office. The range and scope of the film is determined by its Performance in these days. However, things are not looking great for the movie particularly in the Overseas.
Going by the numbers of the film on Friday, the film is performing on par with recent hits like Maharshi, Mahanati, Geetha Govindham, and Aravindha Sametha. But then, the movie has got better reviews than these films. The Trade and fans have expected a Baahubali kind of Rampage for these Reviews.
The film is doing good but no where near the Reviews and expectations. Saturday is usually the biggest day for films at the USA Box Office. We will get an idea about its final numbers watching the performance on that day. Mega fans would want to see at least a Four Million Dollar gross crossing Rangasthalam.
Some experts say Sye Raa is of a serious genre with no entertainment and that may be the reason for the film’s underperformance at the USA Box Office. Better planning would have ensured a bigger opening for the Premiere making things easy but it is not the case with Sye Raa. Chiranjeevi’s Comeback film, Khaidhi No 150 has collected around $2.44 Million in its lifetime half of that coming from the Premieres alone.
