Late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput (SSR) has turned out be an unexpected headache for Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming film tentatively titled Fighter. It is courtesy of the on-going negativity surrounding the producer, Karan Johar.
As many are aware, Karan Johar has been the most targeted film personality in the wake of the suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput. There have been repeated incidents where the hotshot producer had taken jibes at Sushant when he was alive. They are all returning to haunt him.
It would still be okay, it things stayed at the individual level, but they are now spilling on to Karan Johar’s projects, as well. As many of them feature the ‘nepo’ kids, he has introduced. One among them happens to be Vijay Deverakonda’s next.
Fighter stars Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey. The latter is also a nepotism product with minimal acting skills. She along with Karan Johar, have put Fighter in danger zone. If there is a significant number of them, it could impact the movie’s box office prospects.
Right now, director Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Deverakonda are clueless on how to deal with the issue. Fighter is incidentally one of the rare projects from Karan Johar with outsiders taking charge. It is actually a Telugu project. It would be unfortunate if his association (to make it pan-India production) could hinder the movie from reaching its true potential.
