Having handled 11 crafts of 24 in the film, Saroj Kumar boasted a lot about Suryastamayam in the interviews as well as in the trailer that had a release on Saturday. Looking at his confidence and the dare to manage most of the departments of the making, people waited to see if he really creates something and after watching the trailer, it just remained a self-boasting.
Story, screenplay, even stunts and so on, the director turned actor with this film tried to pull everything together by himself claiming the two-hour film to be remembered for the next two decades. Well, did the trailer leave an impact like the director went overboard about his film? No.
The 3.20 minutes trailer will lose the audience as the shots progress and if at all one goes through all of it, it leaves them nothing but chaos. The quality of making is not as great as Saroj claimed. Well, on the whole, the trailer was just okay giving nothing much for the audience to expect.
