Ormax, a popular media agency has released the list of most popular male stars in the pan-India belt. Tamil hero Vijay topped the list while Jr NTR came second. Prabhas and Allu Arjun came 3rd and 4th respectively.
NTR delivered a stellar performance in RRR and particularly, the Komuram Bheemudo stretch showcases his range as an actor. But there was a malicious campaign that was set in motion after RRR’s release. NTR was degraded in this campaign.
However, the negative campaign appears to be having no impact on NTR’s stardom. While the Telugu people might act with vested interests when it comes to RRR credit, the Hindi audience can be regarded as the neutral judges in this aspect.
Now that a reputed media agency has ranked Jr NTR above Prabhas, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, and others on the list of pan-India superstars, it can be understood that the Nandamuri hero has indeed struck a chord with the audience, which is the more important thing.
RRR’s OTT release and the TV premieres are likely to further hype up NTR’s image. He has also lined up a couple more pan-India projects, NTR30 and NTR31 with Koratala Siva and Prashanth Neel respectively.
