Surprising Name for IPL 2020 Title Sponsorship It is known to our readers that Chinese smartphone maker Vivo had to withdraw from IPL 2020 Sponsorship due to the ongoing tussle between India and China. BCCI is looking for a new sponsor and it is said that Yoga guru Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Ayurved is interested.

The company feels that IPL endorsement will give the Patanjali brand a global marketing platform. However, it is not that easy because it is likely to face stiff competition from brands like Jio, Amazon, the Tata group, Dream11, Adani group, and education start-up Byjus.

The Baba Ramdev-led Patanjali Ayurved, which sells a range of grocery products including toothpaste, honey, and noodles in the Ayurveda and natural products space. However, Patanjali’s association will give IPL a staunch nationalistic brand since there is an enormous anti-China sentiment prevailing in the country

IPL 2020 will begin on September 19 with the final to take place on November 8th. The Tournament is shifted out of India due to the Coronavirus Pandemic and will now happen in the UAE. Ample Safety measures will be put in place for the safe conduct of the tournament.
